suggestions for families
History and science is fun for family members of all ages. We have some additional activities you can enjoy during your visit, including Treasure Hunts, Eye-Spy, and binoculars. These activities can be checked out at the lobby desk.
birthday parties
The Museum is available for birthday parties! Parties include the use of the historic Birthday Party Games and Toys box so your group can have fun with the games and toys played throughout the last century (including Barrel of Monkeys, Pick Up Sticks, and burlap sack races), as well as admission to the Museum, and a room you can decorate and use to serve cake and refreshments. Please reserve your birthday party at least two weeks in advance. Call the front desk at 970-221-6738 for more information, or email Amy Scott.
